Avery Dennison Corp., Pasadena, Calif., has completed the acquisitions of RVL Inc. and L&E
Packaging. RVL, Westlake Village, Calif., manufactures woven and printed labels, graphic tags and
specialty packaging products. L&E, Greensboro, N.C., specializes in offset, screen and
flexographic printing products for the apparel and retail industries, and is RVL’s key printing
partner.
The operations of the two companies will be consolidated into Avery Dennison’s global Retail
Information Services business, serving the apparel and retail industries. The expanded business is
expected to generate annual sales of more than $500 million.
