Los Angeles-based Barco® Uniforms reports it has kept a total of 16.8 million plastic bottles from the landfill since it introduced its Barco One and Skechers by Barco scrub collections in 2016 and 2018, respectively. Each Barco One garment features 5 recycled plastic bottles in the fabric, while each Skechers garment features 7 recycled plastic bottles.

The National Council of Textile Organization’s (NCTO’s) Fiber Council has announced Reagan Dunnam, Florence, S.C., as the recipient of the 2019 Paul T. O’Day Scholarship Award. She is the daughter of Jennifer Dunnam, a Fiber Industries LLC employee, and Robert Dunnam.
