HOLMFIRTH, England— April 26, 2021 — SDCE has launched a new-look website — http://www.sdcenterprises.co.uk/ — featuring a streamlined, user-friendly navigation system and a new contemporary aesthetic. The website has been designed to better-reflect SDCE’s international identity as the leading supplier of test consumables, and its ongoing commitment to supplying excellence as Standard for BS, EN and ISO test procedures for textiles.
New features on the website include a live feed of SDCE’s social media activity, and an updated introductory video giving an insight into production and sales at the company’s headquarters in West Yorkshire, UK. The website is also part of an SDCE Group umbrella domain — https://www.sdcegroup.co.uk/ — linking it to its wholly-owned subsidiary specialist weaver Sam Weller, which is the exclusive manufacturer of SDCE’s adjacent fabrics.
“The launch of our new website recognizes the evolving nature of the international textile trade following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic,” says SDCE’s managing director Mark Yare. “While we always strived to offer our distributors and customers instant online access to our certificates of conformity, product information and technical support, we have invested further into our online presence in light of the increased focus on virtual networking. Our new aesthetic is more in keeping with our values of quality, consistency and excellence and the website is an improved platform from which to showcase our premium products.”
The launch of the website has been met with unanimous approval by SDCE’s network of 27 distributors across five continents, customers worldwide and its owner, educational charity the Society of Dyers & Colourists.
“The website is an impressive gateway to SDC Enterprises, and shows the global reach and wide range of products and services offered,” said the Society’s President John Hansford.
SDCE’s newly-launched website is part of a wider program to enhance the company’s digital presence and online interaction with textile professionals worldwide. New features will be added to the platform over the rest of the year, enhancing engagement with the industry and further cementing SDCE’s position as the worldwide leader in testing consumables.
