HUDSON, N.C. — August 26, 2021 — Sattler Outdura is known in the industry for its solution-dyed acrylic woven outdoor fabrics. At this years’ Casual Market Chicago Outdura is showing its OVATION 4 collection of textured and patterned fabrics in its new showroom, 15-101, on September 21-23, 2021. In addition to fabrics, on display in the showroom will be inspiration boards by three top interior designers illustrating imaginative ways to use Outdura fabrics to show different perspectives on using all-weather textiles. And, as an added plus, the Outdura design team from the Sattler Outdura corporate headquarters in Graz, Austria, and Hudson, N.C., will be in the showroom answering questions and sharing their expertise.
“We have received many favorable comments from manufacturers and designers who have previewed our OVATION 4 collection of jacquards, dobbies and stripe fabrics,” commented Uli Tombuelt, Sattler Outdura USA CEO and director of sales casual furniture division. “The Ovation 4 collection builds on our strengths with seven new patterns blending with eleven existing patterns comprising 103 total fabrics and six color stories that relate to an appreciation of nature. We capture starry nights, morning skies, garden spots, tawny sunsets, warm winters and lastly, a night out. We have also added OVATION 4 to our cut-yardage program to accommodate smaller custom orders.”
The designer inspiration boards on display in the Outdura showroom reveal the creative visions of Vicky Serany from Southern Studio Interior Design in North Carolina, Lisa Kahn from Lisa Kahn Designs in Florida and Jeanne Chung from Cozy Stylish Chic in California. “It was interesting to see how interior designers from three distinctly different areas of the country uniquely applied our fabrics to their lifestyle projects. We hope that these design boards will serve as an inspiration to others, giving manufacturers, retailers and our designer clients a fresh sense of how Outdura fabrics can be creatively utilized,” Tombuelt added.
The Sattler Outdura management and design teams from Austria and North Carolina will be in the Outdura Casual Market Chicago showroom sharing their creative knowledge on September 21-23. Mariia Elizarova, designer from Austria, along with the Hudson team are responsible for the design of a wide array of fashion and base cloths available throughout the Outdura collections. They welcome the opportunity to review the line and current trends with showroom visitors during the Casual Market.
Outdura is made in the historic Hudson Cotton Mill in Hudson, N.C. Perfect for use outdoors or in, their fabrics have color pigments that penetrate through the fiber, not just sit on the surface. They are not only UV fade resistant after 1500 hours of testing but also stain, water, mold, and mildew resistant. Cleaning is a breeze with soap and water or a bleach solution for stubborn stains.
