Monroe Township, N.J.-based Shima Seiki U.S.A. Inc. — a division of Japan-based flat knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki Mfg. Ltd. — has opened a showroom and training center at the California Market Center in Los Angeles (L.A.). The showroom highlights the company’s cutting-edge flat knitting machines, glove knitting machines, SDS-ONE APEX3 design system, as well as knit fabric samples.
During the recent grand opening of the center, Shima Seiki held an “Advanced 3-D Knitting” seminar and workshop.
