Founded in 1891 as Nims Manufacturing in Mount Holly, N.C., the company has grown to become the largest U.S. manufacturer and the world’s second-largest manufacturer and distributor of premium quality industrial and consumer sewing thread, embroidery thread and technical textiles. This special occasion allows the company to reflect on its rich heritage, and celebrate its future direction.
