DUQUESNE, Pa. — March 9, 2016 — Pittsburgh-based American Textile Co., a provider of innovative sleep solutions since 1925, announced the appointments of Jane Fischer to senior vice president of Product Development and Patrick Seiffert to senior vice president of Marketing. In these newly-created positions, Fischer will oversee the ideation and development of American Textile Company’s growing list of retail products while Seiffert will focus on consumer insights, brand growth, customer experience and ecommerce.

Fischer, formerly vice president of Product Development, has been with American Textile Co. for more than six years and has excelled as a business leader, growth strategist and product innovator. Before joining American Textile Co., she served as Senior Product Merchant at Springs Global and VP of Merchandising at Sara Lee Corp., responsible for securing new business and driving profitability. Fischer has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University and Bachelor of Science degree in Merchandising from the University of Wisconsin.
Seiffert, formerly vice president of Marketing, joined American Textile Co. approximately two years ago and has made a significant impact on the company’s marketing and licensing initiatives, for brands such as AllerEase and Sealy. His understanding of consumer insights allows him to anticipate consumer needs and leverage them to elevate new products. Seiffert draws from prior brand management experience with GlaxoSmithKline overseeing marketing efforts for Aquafresh and Nicorette. Seiffert has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Purdue University.
These promotions come on the heels of more than a decade of double-digit, year-over-year growth for American Textile Company, and continued innovation in the sleep category. The company employs over 1,000 people worldwide and added more than 50 positions in the last year.
