BROOKLYN, OH — May 8, 2023 — MMI Textiles Inc., a global diversified supplier of industrial and custom fabrics and textile components with military, tactical, medical, commercial, and apparel expertise, has announced Bruce Dabbs as Technical Textile Engineer for MMI Textiles. Bruce will be strategically located in North Carolina and will start with MMI effective today.
MMI Textiles is at the forefront of customer service and innovation in the textile supply industry, and this move will help support the company through its next phase of growth as a leading global supplier of advanced materials.
Dabbs was selected for this new position to help MMI Textiles excel operationally as the company continues its significant growth. He will play a critical role in the company’s quality and product development efforts.
His 30-plus years of experience in the textile industry includes overseeing both product development and manufacturing. Dabbs previously worked for organizations such as Glen Raven Technical Fabrics, Culp, and Shawmut Park Avenue LLC. His background includes the development of specialty fabrics for Automotive, Medical, FR and Protective, Military, and several other industries. He also has worked with globally recognized brands to develop technical textiles for outerwear, automotive interiors, drapery, and many other end product uses.
