PARIS — November 7, 2023 — Beginning in October, the French Textile Machinery Association (UCMTF in French) announced the appointment of Mireille Jautzy as Secretary General. She took over from Christian Guinet who had decided to retire.
Hugues Schellenberg, the president, would like to underline, “it is a great opportunity for us to welcome Mireille. She will bring a new approach regards her experience in several industries, on an international level, a great part of her experience has been on top positions, take part to and piloting strategies and significant projects. We chose her for bringing new ideas and the transition with Christian Guinet has been smooth and positive as they had been working together from July this year.
Hugues Schellenberg added it was a significant period while working with Christian Guinet. He had to face the COVID crisis and the particular situation over fairs and international trips. He joined one of our members in 1982 and has been President of our Promotion Committee organizing our road shows, seminars and National pavilions in many fairs and managed our relations with the Textile Press. He took the position of Secretary General in 2019. All our contacts know and appreciate him.
“I am quite sure, they will welcome Mireille who shares the same values than the French Machinery members. She will be a great asset to our members which are exporting, all over the world, most of their machines and services.”
